Seth A. Scholar
Managing Director

Mr. Scholar is a Managing Director and a member of the Investment Committee, where he brings a bottom-up perspective to the firm’s investment process. Previously, Seth was a Principal
Director of Equity Investments for Tamalpais Wealth Advisors and prior to that was the Portfolio Manager and Senior Research Analyst at Sand Hill Advisors, where he managed the firm’s Core and Income Portfolios. Prior to that, Seth was Vice President and Research Analyst at Harris Bretall, Sullivan and Smith, where he co-managed the Technology, Communications and Entertainment Portfolio. Previous experience included positions at Hambrecht & Quist and Bear Stearns. Seth received a B.A. in Business/Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1987 and has a Graduate Certificate in Financial Planning from U.C. Berkeley Extension. He is licensed as an Investment Advisor Representative (NASD Series 65).
