William Osher, CFA

Chief Economist, Director of Fixed Income

Mr. Osher manages the firm’s fixed income portfolios and is the firm’s economic and sector strategist. As a voiting member of the Investment Committee, Bill is responsible for setting the top down direction for both the firm’s equity and fixed income investments. Previously, Bill was the Chief Economist, Director of Fixed Income Investments and Equity Sector Strategist for Tamalpais Wealth Advisors and prior to that for Harris Bretall, Sullivan and Smith L.L.C., where he was also a senior portfolio manager. Bill received his B.A. from Claremont McKenna College and his M.B.A. in Finance and Accounting from Northwestern University’s J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management. He earned his Certified Pension Consulting degree in 1982 and his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) in 1992. Bill is the current treasurer for the Town of Tiburon, California. He is also a member of the CFA Institute, the Security Analysts of San Francisco and the California Municipal Treasurers Association, and is a member of the U.C. Berkeley Advisory Board for their certificate program in wealth management.
